Product Description

Nikon Prostaff P7 10x30 Binoculars

Ready For Anything

Whether you're traversing distant locales or observing local landscapes, these compact and resilient binoculars facilitate the effortless spotting of your preferred subjects. From soaring eagles to elusive wildlife, their expansive field of view and superior resolution ensure meticulous capture of every movement and intricate detail, even in low-light environments.

High Quality Optics

Featuring multilayer coated lenses and prisms, alongside an environmentally conscious dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating, these binoculars deliver exceptional brightness and true-to-life colours. Furthermore, the roof prisms incorporate a phase-correction coating for high-contrast views, while all optical components utilize environmentally safe, lead- and arsenic-free glass.

The Big Outdoors

No matter the terrain—whether traversing rugged trails, scaling mountain peaks, or beside serene lakes—these robust yet lightweight binoculars are primed for adventure. Enveloped in protective rubber armour, they provide both a secure grip and safeguard against impacts and falls, exemplifying durability in outdoor exploration.

Purpose-built for wilderness endeavours, these binoculars feature waterproofing (up to 1 m for 10 minutes) and a fog-resistant design, ensuring continued observation despite rain or mist. With a wide field of view, tracking fast-moving or erratic subjects—from avian fauna to airborne crafts—is effortlessly achieved.

Sustaining clear vision is seamless, even in adverse conditions, courtesy of the oil- and water-repellent coating on the objective lens and eyepieces, facilitating swift removal of moisture, fingerprints, and smudges. The dioptre adjuster on the right barrel enables precise focus calibration for each eye's individual vision, with a locking mechanism to prevent inadvertent adjustments.

Comfortable Vision

Featuring long eye relief (15 mm or more) on every model, these binoculars accommodate glasses wearers, while multi-click turn-and-slide rubber eyecups simplify setting the correct eye position for non-glasses wearers. When not in use, the included soft case ensures protection, with the eyepiece cap conveniently attachable to the neck strap to prevent loss. Similarly, the lens caps can be clipped to the strap for swift accessibility as needed.

Understanding: Magnification

Understanding magnification, typically denoted by a number followed by an "x" (e.g., 8x42), is essential for choosing binoculars suited to specific activities like birdwatching, hunting, or stargazing.

Higher magnification offers a closer view but may sacrifice field of view and stability, while lower magnification provides a wider field of view and is generally easier to stabilize but sacrifices detailed observation of distant objects

Understanding: Field of View

Field of view refers to the width of the area visible through the binoculars at a specific distance. A wider field of view allows you to observe more of your surroundings, making it ideal for activities like birdwatching or sports events where tracking fast-moving subjects is essential.

Understanding: Objective Lens Diameter

The objective lens diameter determines how much light the binoculars can gather, directly impacting image brightness and clarity, especially in low-light conditions. A larger objective lens diameter results in brighter and clearer images, making it ideal for activities such as stargazing or wildlife observation at dawn or dusk. However, larger objective lenses also mean heavier and bulkier binoculars, which may not be suitable for all users, especially for long periods of use or travel.
