Canon MP-E 65mm f2.8 1-5x Macro Lens
A unique manual-focus lens designed exclusively for macro shooting.
This is the first macro photo lens designed to achieve a high magnification greater than 1x without additional accessories. It is ideal for small subjects. The newly designed optical formula and UD-glass elements suppress chromatic aberrations which become apparent at high magnifications. For flash photography, Macro Ring Lite ML-3 can be attached to the lens.
The MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5X is ideal for very small subjects, capable of capturing subjects at up to 5x life size. The lens design contains UD-glass elements to suppress chromatic aberrations which often become apparent at high magnifications. For flash photography, Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX or Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX can be attached.
Super Spectra Coating
Super spectra coatings help ensure accurate colour balance and high contrast and suppress flare and ghosting by absorbing light that might be reflected off internal lens elements and digital sensor.
Passes Distance Information to E-TTL II
The lens passes distance information back to the camera's E-TTL II flash system to ensure optimal flash metering in any shooting situation.
