Spypoint FORCE-DARK Ultra Compact Trail Camera

  • 0.07 seconds shutter speed
  • Up to 34 metres capture range and up to 27 frame range

Released in May 2019, the new SpyPoint Force Dark offers excellent photo quality, very good videos, unbelievable trigger speeds and lengthy battery life, all in one camera trap. The Force Dark captures very high quality 12MP images and for the first time, 1080p HD video.

Battery life, from 8x AA lithium batteries (not included), will be a long time under normal usage. If taking photos, you can expect around a year’s battery life from this camera on approximately 60 photos every 24 hours.

The SpyPoint Force Dark also has an extremely fast trigger speed – approx 0.05 seconds for photos and around 0.5 second for video – some of the fastest currently available on any camera trap.

One new innovative feature is the option to choose between no-glow and low-glow LED types – a first in trail cameras. If using for general wildlife viewing you can select low-glow. If used for security applications, change the LED setting to no-glow so the camera can’t be spotted.

The SpyPoint Force Dark also has a host of other very impressive features. 12MP stills are excellent quality, particularly in the daytime, and the HD video is good. As with all SpyPoint camera traps, you feel that there is a lot going on under-the-hood in the Force Dark – it's intuitive and pleasant to use. Features like a 60 second countdown on the screen once you tell the camera to start, which if you then press ‘OK’ reduces to 10 seconds, demonstrate this.

The Spypoint Force Dark trail camera also has a curved motion sensor which improves the detection angle and detecting the distance of its five detection zones.
