Description
The Hitech Light Balancing Camera Filter Kit - 100mm is a set of filters that shift colour temperature to help balance light for photography. Each filter is constructed of resin and high-quality Schott Superwite glass, and subjected to rigorous quality control measures. The kit is made up of the following filters: 81a Light Amber / Yellowish, 81d Light Amber / Yellowish, 82a Light Blue and 82c Light Blue.
The 81a Light Amber / Yellowish filter features a colour temperature conversion of 3400-3200K and an exposure of +1/3. It warms up the look of the light by reducing the blue cast. This filter is used for more subtle changes in colour balance, shifting the colour temperature in smaller degrees to balance the light colour to the colour sensitivity of the film.
The 81d Light Amber / Yellowish filter has a colour temperature conversion of 3700-3200K and an exposure of +2/3. This filter also warms up the look of the light.
The 82a Light Blue filter has a colour temperature conversion of 3000-3200K and an exposure of +1/3. It cools the appearance of the light, but not as dramatically as the 80 series does.
The 82c Light Blue filter, with a colour temperature conversion of 2800-3200K and an exposure of +2/3, also cools the appearance of the light in a more subtle manner than the 80 series.

High-quality construction and rigorous quality control: Made from sheets of resin placed between 2 pieces of Schott Superwite glass. The resin cured within glass via a bonding process. Absorbing Cell Technology absorbs effect into each cell of the resin. Glass reduced in thickness via computerised lapping machine and protective frame applied around the edge
