This stopper is a long-exposure filter that reduces the light entering your lens by ten stops.
By greatly extending exposure times, the Big Stopper has the effect of allowing anything that is moving in your image to become blurred or ghost like, for example, clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea. The filter can also be used on cityscapes to blur people or on roads and motorways to blur traffic.
Used creatively the Big Stopper can change the way we look at moving objects and capture a real sense of time passing in your images.
Virtually identical to the standard LEE100 Little Stopper, this foamless version is designed for use with the new NIKKOR Z 14-24 f2.8 S Holder Kit.
The foamless stopper omits the foam light seal from the standard Stopper, as this would cause vignetting on the NIKKOR Z 14-24 f2.8 S lens.
The foam light seal is instead built into the new NIKKOR Z 14-24 f2.8 S Holder, which has an anti-reflective coating and an integrated gasket to protect against light leak.
