    This Tiffen 67mm ND3.0 10 Stop Neutral Density Filter is a powerful filter which allows only a thousandth of the light to permeate. Such filters were originally developed for solar and industrial photography but have since been embraced by creative photographers and used in conjunction with slow shutter speeds to remove fast-moving objects - such as vehicles - from photographs and to create images with deep colours, spectral clouds and mist-like water effects.

    You may experience a colour cast towards red with this filter, but it is excellent in black and white mode, for a more neutral cast free filter there is the new Tiffen WW IR ND3.0 NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTER IR CUT.

    These filters reduce the amount of light passing through the camera lens without changing the colour of the scene. They are especially useful in bright light conditions to help prevent overexposure. Neutral Density filters also allow proper exposure at a wider lens opening for reduced depth-of-field to highlight a key subject by making the foreground and/or background out of focus.
