IT ASSISTANT

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with a friendly, confident personality to join our dedicated and knowledgeable team working in our Carmarthen store. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will need to be well presented, trustworthy and reliable with a willing attitude.

The primary responsibility will be the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems (Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, MacOS) and other technologies, such as communication systems (VOIP), Web design and development (Magento), internet security, configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users. Other duties will include answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems, be responsible for writing reports, tracking inventory, evaluating new technologies, negotiating contracts with vendors, and developing contingency/disaster recovery plans.

At least one year of experience in IT support is preferred.

The hours of work each week will be Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30 hours, inclusive of a 30-minute break.

The remuneration package will be based on experience.
