The Apex series features proprietary PXA phase-correcting prism coatings and HR metallic covered reflective prism surfaces that maximize light transmission and boost clarity and contrast. The prism coatings are complemented by anti-reflection fully multicoated optics which provide bright and clear high-contrast views with accurate color rendition.
The 50mm objectives gather all the light needed to keep views crisp and bright in challenging conditions, such as at dawn and dusk, while producing a wide exit pupil and comfortable eye relief despite their high power. Their wide field of view helps to minimize the distracting hand-shake that is common with high-power optics and reduces side-to-side head movement.
