When coupled with Vanguard's precision-machined, one piece magnesium ball head you can adjust your camera position swiftly and smoothly and never miss the shot.
Alta+ has a reversible centre column, ideal for macro shots. It also includes a detachable short column. Simply detach it, remove the long column, and then insert the short part into the tripod's canopy - now you can open out all of the legs and shoot low to the ground, either for close ups, or with a longer lens for great wildlife and action photos.
Alta+ 254CB kit includes Vanguard's SBH-30 ball head and two QS-39 quick release plates, allowing you to set up two cameras for use with the tripod.
