Rugged Protection for Your Files

The HD710 Pro is designed to protect your data in demanding environments. Its IP68 rating provides complete protection against dust ingress, while ADATA tests the drive for 60 minutes beneath two metres of water—exceeding IEC IPX8 requirements.

For full protection against water and dust, the USB port cover must be firmly closed before the drive is exposed to these conditions.

Military-Grade Shock Resistance

A triple-layer protective structure helps the HD710 Pro withstand knocks, drops and vibration. A tough silicone exterior surrounds a shock-absorbing buffer and rigid plastic shell, holding the internal drive securely in place.

The drive has been tested to the US Army MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standard and can withstand falls from up to 1.5 metres, providing extra reassurance when travelling or working outdoors.

Shock and Vibration Detection

Integrated shock sensors detect sudden impacts or excessive vibration and immediately pause drive activity. This helps reduce the risk of errors, bad sectors and file corruption.

Once the vibration has stopped, normal operation resumes automatically. A clear status indicator keeps you informed throughout the process.

Fast USB 3.2 Connectivity

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface offers transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, making it suitable for backing up image libraries, video projects, documents and other large files.

It is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices, although lower transfer speeds will apply. Connecting through USB 2.0 may require two USB ports and a separately available USB Y-cable to provide sufficient power.

Integrated Cable Management

A convenient groove runs around the drive’s protective shell, providing a dedicated place to store the detachable USB cable. Simply disconnect and wrap the cable around the enclosure to reduce clutter and help prevent it from being misplaced while travelling.

Backup ToGo Software

ADATA’s free Backup ToGo software provides straightforward scheduled backups for Windows computers. It supports backup to local drives, mobile devices and compatible cloud-storage services through an intuitive interface.

Please note that Backup ToGo is only compatible with Windows.

Console Compatibility

The HD710 Pro can also be connected to compatible games consoles and used as backup storage for games that are not currently being played. Compatibility varies between consoles, and reformatting may be required.
