Product Description

Celestron Smartphone Adapter DX Kit, 1.25"

The Celestron Smartphone Adapter DX Kit, 1.25" is a versatile digiscoping accessory designed to help you capture photographs and videos through your telescope, spotting scope, binoculars or microscope using your smartphone. Combining a durable metal-bodied smartphone adapter with a convenient Bluetooth shutter release remote, this kit provides an easy introduction to astrophotography, wildlife photography and digiscoping.

Compatible with a wide range of Apple, Samsung, Google and other smartphones, the adapter securely positions your phone's camera over an eyepiece, allowing you to capture detailed images of the Moon, distant wildlife and other subjects.

Capture Photos Through Your Optics

The Celestron Smartphone Adapter DX Kit transforms your existing optical equipment into a smartphone photography setup.

Designed to fit eyepieces with an outside diameter of 29mm to 45mm, it works with most telescopes featuring 1.25" eyepieces, alongside compatible spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars and microscopes.

Whether you're photographing the lunar surface or recording wildlife observations, the adapter provides a simple way to capture and share your discoveries.

Bluetooth Shutter Release for Sharper Images

The included Bluetooth shutter release remote allows you to capture photographs or start and stop video recording without touching your smartphone.

By reducing vibrations caused by pressing the phone's screen, the remote helps produce sharper images, particularly when photographing distant subjects or using higher magnifications.

Compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, it connects wirelessly for convenient operation.

Secure & Adjustable Smartphone Mounting

The adapter features an adjustable smartphone platform with threaded tightening knobs to hold your device securely in position.

Simply place your smartphone into the adapter, align its camera with the centre of the eyepiece and tighten the adjustment knobs to secure everything in place.

Its durable metal construction is designed to withstand regular outdoor use, making it suitable for astronomy sessions and wildlife observation.
