Compatibility
The Manfrotto 055 Magnesium Ball Head is designed to pair perfectly with Manfrotto 055 carbon fibre tripods, but it can also be used with other tripods that support a 3/8" mounting thread.
For optimal performance, Manfrotto RC2 quick release plates are recommended. Third-party Arca-style plates are not recommended with this quick release platform.
