The Nikon NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S is a professional super-telephoto zoom lens designed for Nikon Z full-frame mirrorless cameras. Combining a fast constant f/2.8 aperture with a built-in 1.4x teleconverter, it delivers outstanding versatility for sports, wildlife, action and professional event photography.

Covering a 120-300mm focal range, extendable to 168-420mm with the integrated teleconverter, this premium S-Line lens combines exceptional optical performance with advanced autofocus and powerful Vibration Reduction. Designed for demanding professional environments, it provides the speed, precision and flexibility needed to capture decisive moments.

Versatile Zoom with Built-In 1.4x Teleconverter

The 120-300mm focal range offers excellent flexibility for photographing everything from wider sporting action to tightly framed subjects at a distance.

An integrated 1.4x teleconverter extends the focal range to 168-420mm at the flick of a switch, eliminating the need to attach an external converter when additional reach is required.

The lens maintains a constant f/2.8 aperture without the teleconverter, changing to f/4 when the teleconverter is engaged. On compatible full-frame Nikon Z cameras, DX crop mode can further extend the effective reach to 630mm.

Exceptional S-Line Optical Performance

Featuring 30 elements in 24 groups, the NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S delivers exceptional sharpness, contrast and colour accuracy throughout its zoom range.

Its advanced optical construction incorporates ED, Super ED, fluorite, aspherical and SR glass elements to minimise chromatic aberration and colour fringing.

Nikon's Meso Amorphous Coat and ARNEO Coat help suppress flare and ghosting, maintaining excellent clarity when shooting under bright stadium lighting or in challenging backlit conditions.

The fast f/2.8 aperture also provides excellent low-light performance and attractive background separation, complemented by a nine-blade rounded diaphragm.

Fast Autofocus & Powerful Vibration Reduction

Equipped with Nikon's Silky Swift voice coil motor autofocus system, the lens delivers exceptionally fast, accurate and quiet focusing performance.

Its advanced multi-focus system is designed to track fast-moving subjects reliably, making it particularly effective for professional sports, wildlife and action photography.

Built-in Vibration Reduction provides up to 6.5 stops of stabilisation, with Synchro VR support on compatible Nikon Z cameras, helping maintain sharp images when shooting handheld or at slower shutter speeds.

The NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S features an internal zoom mechanism, maintaining a consistent lens length and centre of gravity throughout the zoom range.
