Create Digital Negatives for the Darkroom

Digital Transfer Film 165 allows photographers to prepare and print enlarged negatives using an inkjet printer. These negatives can then be used for contact printing onto compatible traditional photographic papers and alternative-process materials.

Dye and Pigment Ink Compatibility

PermaJet Digital Transfer Film 165 is suitable for inkjet printers using either dye-based or pigment-based inks. Photo Black ink is recommended for producing the density required when creating digital negatives.

Printer settings, ink density and negative curves may need to be adjusted according to the printer, ink set and darkroom process being used.
