Product Description

Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary Lens - Nikon Z

The Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary is an exceptionally versatile all-in-one zoom lens for Nikon Z mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. Covering everything from wide-angle landscapes and everyday photography to portraits, wildlife and sports, its approximately 18.8x zoom ratio gives photographers an enormous focal range without the need to constantly change lenses.

Designed as a genuine do-it-all lens, it also combines fast HLA autofocus, powerful optical stabilisation and impressive close-up capability in a relatively compact package, making it particularly appealing for travel and photographers who want to carry less equipment.

From Wide-Angle to Super-Telephoto

With a 16-300mm focal range, the Sigma offers the flexibility to move from expansive wide-angle compositions to distant subjects using the same lens. Sigma describes its approximately 18.8x zoom ratio as a world first for an APS-C format mirrorless lens, making it a particularly versatile option for landscapes, portraits, wildlife, sports and everyday photography.

The extensive range makes the 16-300mm an excellent choice for travelling light, where carrying several different lenses may not be practical.

Fast HLA Autofocus & Optical Stabilisation

Sigma's HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) provides fast, smooth and accurate autofocus, helping the lens keep up with moving subjects such as wildlife, birds and aircraft.

Built-in Optical Stabilisation (OS) provides up to 6 stops of stabilisation at 16mm and 4.5 stops at 300mm, helping reduce the effects of camera shake when shooting handheld, particularly at longer focal lengths or in lower light.

Impressive Close-Up Capability

The 16-300mm isn't limited to distant subjects. At 70mm it offers a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2, opening up opportunities for detailed close-up photography without needing to carry a dedicated macro lens. Minimum focusing distance starts from just 17cm at the wide end.

Designed for Nikon Z

This Nikon Z version uses a control algorithm specifically developed for the mount, supporting high-speed autofocus, AF-C continuous autofocus and compatible in-camera aberration correction. The lens mount is also rubber-sealed to help provide additional protection when shooting in a variety of environments.
