The SmallRig Rotating Side Handle with Trigger REC (ID 5235) is a professional ergonomic grip designed to deliver greater control, comfort, and efficiency when filming handheld. Purpose-built for selected Canon EOS and Blackmagic Design BMPCC cameras, this versatile side handle combines a comfortable grip, integrated record trigger, infinite rotation, and USB-C power output—making it an ideal companion for filmmakers, vloggers, and content creators.

Featuring 360° bi-directional stepless rotation, the handle adapts instantly to any shooting angle, helping reduce wrist strain during extended sessions while enabling smooth, dynamic camera movements. The integrated REC button allows you to start and stop recording directly from the handle (with compatible cameras), keeping your focus on framing the shot instead of reaching for camera controls.

When paired with optional NP-F550 or NP-F570 batteries, the built-in USB-C port supports Power Delivery fast charging (up to 20W), letting you power accessories or compatible cameras for longer shoots.

Crafted from aluminium alloy, stainless steel, silicone, copper, and TPE, the handle delivers professional durability with a refined, comfortable feel.

Power & Recording Notes

• NP-F550 / NP-F570 batteries are required to enable REC control for Canon EOS and Blackmagic BMPCC cameras (batteries not included).

• USB-C output supports PD fast charging up to 20W maximum.

• Power supply is not supported for Canon EOS R5C and Blackmagic BMPCC 6K Pro due to higher power demands.

• When memory card space is critically low, REC control may not function.
