SmallRig RS20 mini Speedlite Flash 5374

SmallRig RS20 mini Speedlite Flash 5374

The SmallRig RS20 mini Speedlite Flash 5374 brings portable, adjustable lighting to your camera setup. Combining GN12 output, fast recycling and a built-in rechargeable battery, this pocket-sized flash is a convenient companion for portraits, travel, social occasions and everyday photography.

Weighing approximately 128g, it is easy to carry when you want additional lighting without a larger flash unit. A clear OLED display, 22 power levels and a universal single-contact hot shoe make it straightforward to adjust your lighting as you shoot.

Compact Lighting for Everyday Photography

Measuring just 46 × 71 × 73mm, the RS20 mini takes up little space in your camera bag. Its lightweight ABS body keeps your setup manageable, making it practical for days out, informal portraits and spontaneous photography.

Use it to brighten nearby subjects, add fill light or explore the distinctive appearance of direct-flash photography.

Adjustable Output for Creative Control

Choose from 22 power levels between 1/1 and 1/128 to balance the flash with your surroundings. Reduce the output for a subtle lift in brightness or increase it when you need a stronger contribution.

Manual power control helps you achieve consistent results when working at a fixed distance and gives you a practical way to learn how flash output affects your photographs.

Fast Recycling Between Shots

The RS20 mini recycles in approximately 0.1–1.8 seconds, depending on the selected power. At minimum output, it can be ready again in around 0.1 seconds, while full-power recycling takes approximately 1.8 seconds.

Lower power settings help you work more quickly when capturing changing expressions or a sequence of moments.

Rechargeable Battery with Extended Endurance

The integrated 2000mAh lithium battery provides approximately 500 full-power flashes per charge, with up to 10,000 flashes at minimum output under SmallRig’s test conditions.

Recharge through USB-C without needing to replace disposable batteries. A full charge takes approximately three hours using a suitable 5V/1A USB power supply.

Clear OLED Display

The built-in OLED screen displays flash output, battery status and trigger mode, keeping essential information visible while you work.

Check your remaining charge, confirm your settings and adjust the output as your shooting conditions change.

Hot Shoe and Slave Trigger Operation

The single-contact hot shoe supports straightforward manual triggering with compatible cameras. A slave trigger mode also provides options for incorporating the flash into a compatible multiple-flash setup.

The maximum stated sync speed is approximately 1/250 second, although the usable shutter speed depends on your camera’s flash-sync capabilities.

Requires a camera with a compatible centre-contact hot shoe and support for flash operation. Some camera models or shoe designs may require an adapter or may not be compatible.
