The SmallRig USB-C Data Cable 5595 lets you reposition your camera’s USB-C connection for a more convenient, secure setup. Designed for use with compatible camera cages and L-shaped mounting plates, this male-to-female extension cable combines a screw-mounted female connector with up to 20Gbps data transfer and 240W USB Power Delivery support.

Whether you are connecting external storage, transferring files or supplying power, it helps keep the connection accessible while reducing strain on the camera’s USB-C port.

Reposition Your USB-C Connection

Connecting cables directly to a camera can become awkward when working around a cage, mounting plate or other accessories. The SmallRig 5595 allows you to move the connection to a more suitable position on your rig, improving access and cable routing.

This flexibility helps reduce the likelihood of accidental disconnections when handling or repositioning your equipment.

Secure Mounting to Your Camera Rig

The female connector can be fastened to a compatible cage or L-shaped plate using the two supplied ¼″-20 screws. Securing the connector provides a fixed attachment point for your external cable, helping reduce movement and strain at the camera’s port.

An Allen key is included for installation.

High-Speed Data Transfer

Supporting transfer speeds of up to 20Gbps, the cable is suitable for demanding data connections between compatible equipment. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, with backwards compatibility for USB 3.1, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.

Actual transfer speeds depend on the connected devices, ports and any additional cables in the connection.

Up to 240W Power Delivery

Support for USB PD 3.1 enables power delivery of up to 240W when used with compatible equipment. The cable is also backwards compatible with USB PD 3.0 and PD 2.0.

The power supplied is determined by the connected device, power source and complete cable setup, allowing the extension to accommodate different charging requirements.

Compact and Lightweight
