Its folding L-shaped design combines a V-mount battery holder, an adjustable base and an integrated Arca-Swiss clamp, making it easy to configure around compatible camera cages and mounting plates.

Weighing approximately 199g, it provides a lightweight way to position a V-mount battery behind your camera while retaining flexibility for screen access, tripod mounting and transport.

Compact V-Mount Battery Support

The 4505B holds a compatible V-mount battery as part of your camera setup, providing a practical foundation for an external power arrangement.

Its compact design keeps the battery close to the camera, making it useful for filmmakers who want to build a manageable rig for handheld or tripod-supported shooting.

Integrated Arca-Swiss Clamp

The built-in Arca-Swiss clamp connects to compatible accessories with an integrated Arca-type plate, including suitable SmallRig cages, L-brackets and baseplates.

This allows you to incorporate the battery mount into an existing setup without adding unnecessary mounting components. The standard 4505B package is intended for use with a suitable plate already fitted to your camera or cage.

Extendable Base for Different Camera Setups

The base extends by up to 36.5mm, allowing you to adjust the spacing between the camera and battery mount to suit your equipment.

A tool-free toggle lock makes it quick to release, adjust and secure the extension. The design accommodates many mirrorless and DSLR setups with a camera depth of less than 111mm, subject to mounting position and clearance.

Rotating Design for Screen Access

The battery mounting section offers up to 180° of adjustment, allowing you to move it backwards to create space for an articulating screen or fold it forwards for storage.

You can adjust its position without first removing the battery. Damping at the pivot helps control movement while repositioning the mounted equipment.

Flexible Tripod Mounting

Built-in ¼″-20 and ⅜″-16 threaded holes on the underside allow you to attach a suitable quick release plate for your preferred support system.

Use a compatible Arca-Swiss, Manfrotto or other plate to configure the assembly for your tripod, while retaining the adjustable battery mounting arrangement.

Lightweight, Folding Construction

Made from aluminium alloy and stainless steel, the 4505B balances durability with portability. Its folding design measures approximately 113.5 × 91.5 × 30mm in its compact configuration, making it easy to store between shoots.

At approximately 199g before adding a battery, it keeps the mounting hardware lightweight as you expand your camera’s power setup.

Broad Camera Compatibility

The adjustable design suits a wide range of camera systems when paired with an appropriate Arca-compatible cage, bracket or plate.

Examples include the Sony A7 series, FX3 and FX30; Canon EOS R5 C, R5, R6, R6 Mark II, R7, R10, R and RP; and Panasonic LUMIX S1H, S5, S5 II, GH6 and GH5.
