The Tamron 16-50mm F2.8 A Lens for Fujifilm X is a compact, lightweight standard zoom designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras. Combining a versatile 24-75mm equivalent focal range with a constant F2.8 aperture, it's ideal for landscapes, portraits, travel photography and video creation.

Weighing just 305g and measuring 79.6mm long, this fast-aperture zoom offers excellent portability without compromising optical performance. With advanced optics, fast VXD autofocus and moisture-resistant construction, it's an excellent upgrade from a standard kit lens.

Versatile Zoom with a Constant F2.8 Aperture

Covering everything from wide-angle landscapes and architecture to portraits and everyday photography, the 16-50mm zoom range provides excellent flexibility without needing to change lenses.

The constant F2.8 maximum aperture maintains consistent brightness throughout the zoom range, allowing faster shutter speeds in low light and greater control over depth of field. A seven-blade rounded diaphragm also produces attractive background blur and smooth bokeh.

Featuring 14 elements in 10 groups, including LD and aspherical glass elements, the Tamron 16-50mm F2.8 A delivers sharp, detailed images with reduced optical aberrations.

Tamron's VXD linear motor autofocus system provides fast, precise and quiet focusing, making it suitable for both photography and video. Its responsive subject tracking is particularly useful for capturing moving subjects, while quiet operation benefits video recording.

Compact, Lightweight & Weather-Resistant

At just 305g, the Tamron 16-50mm F2.8 A is designed for photographers who want a capable everyday lens without unnecessary bulk.

Its compact dimensions make it an excellent match for Fujifilm X Series cameras, particularly when travelling, shooting handheld or using a camera gimbal.
