Comfortable Support for Extended Shoots

Carrying two professional cameras for several hours can place considerable strain on the neck and shoulders. The PRO 2N1 STRAP uses a balanced, backpack-style harness with two padded shoulder sections, an adjustable sternum strap and a rear connecting strap.

Together, these features distribute the weight across the upper body and help keep the harness stable while walking, working or changing position.

Each side can be adjusted so the cameras rest comfortably against the hips, keeping them within easy reach while reducing unwanted swinging. Adjustable cam buckles also help hold the cameras closer to the body when moving between locations, bending down or working in busy environments.

Universal Arca-Compatible Quick Release

Vanguard’s Quick Detach Locking System provides a secure connection while allowing photographers to change their shooting setup quickly.

Two QS-38H Arca-compatible quick-release plates are included. Each plate attaches to the tripod thread on the base of a camera, although compatible third-party Arca plates can also be used.

A slim clamp locks onto the bottom of each plate in the same way as an Arca-compatible tripod head. Each clamp incorporates a safety pin for additional security, although this feature is designed primarily for use with the supplied Vanguard plates and may not work as effectively with plates from other manufacturers.

The clamp then connects to the harness through an aluminium Pro Clip with a push-button release system. This allows the camera to be attached or removed quickly while providing a secure connection.

Additional Camera Security

Two Vanguard Connect Safety Tethers are supplied, creating a secondary connection between the harness and each camera.

Each tether attaches to a camera strap eyelet and connects to the supplied Connect Clip DLX. The system is easy to attach and release while providing additional reassurance when carrying valuable camera and lens combinations.

Keep Two Cameras Ready

The PRO 2N1 STRAP is ideal for assignments where changing lenses could mean missing an important moment. Carrying two cameras lets you keep different focal lengths or shooting configurations ready at the same time.

Simply move the relevant front cam buckle up the strap to raise the required camera smoothly into position. The second camera remains securely supported at the opposite hip until needed.

Fast Detachment and Tripod Use

When you need completely unrestricted movement, either camera can be removed from the harness in seconds. Press the two buttons on the aluminium connector and release the safety tether to detach the camera.

For tripod use, loosen the clamp and remove it from the Arca-compatible plate. The camera can then be attached directly to a compatible tripod head without changing its quick-release plate.

Dual or Single-Camera Configuration

Although designed primarily as a two-camera harness, the PRO 2N1 STRAP can be separated and used as a single-camera shoulder harness.

Use the complete system when two camera and lens combinations are required, or convert it into a lighter single-camera sling for travel, smaller assignments and less equipment-intensive shoots.

Despite supporting two professional camera systems, the Vanguard PRO 2N1 STRAP weighs approximately 430g. Its maximum adjustable length of 178cm helps accommodate different body sizes, clothing layers and preferred camera positions.

Specifications

Vanguard’s strength tests include vertical hanging and controlled drop testing. The Pro Clip was tested at 150kg when vertically suspended and 30kg during a 25cm drop test. The safety tether system was tested at 90kg when vertically suspended and 20kg during a 25cm drop test. These figures demonstrate the relative strength of the components and do not represent approved maximum load capacities, as real-world conditions and other factors may affect performance.
