Monitor wildlife across a wider area with the ZEISS Secacam 3 Wide-Angle. Its expansive 100° field of view captures more of the surrounding environment, making it particularly effective around feeding stations, trails and locations where animals may approach from several directions.

A 3MP sensor, ZEISS IR Boost technology and 60 invisible 940nm black LEDs deliver clear day and night images without disturbing wildlife. Integrated 4G connectivity can send captured images directly to the ZEISS Secacam app, while 32GB of internal storage removes the need for a separate SD card.

Wide-Angle Wildlife Monitoring

The Secacam 3 Wide-Angle features a 100° field of view, allowing it to monitor a much broader scene than a conventional trail camera. This helps reduce blind spots and makes the camera suitable for wide paths, gardens, feeding areas and locations where animal movements are difficult to predict.

A close-focusing distance of approximately 35cm also allows the camera to capture smaller animals and nearby subjects with useful detail.

Clear Images in Low Light

An upgraded sensor supports detailed image capture in difficult lighting conditions. ZEISS IR Boost technology optimises the camera’s 940nm infrared illumination to produce clear night-time images while keeping the flash invisible to both people and wildlife.

The system is designed to provide image quality closer to that associated with more visible 850nm illumination, without producing a distracting red glow.

Fast Trigger Response

A sensitive motion sensor detects movement and activates the camera in approximately 0.35–0.45 seconds. This rapid response reduces the likelihood of fast-moving wildlife leaving the frame before an image is captured.

The camera automatically adjusts its infrared flash output according to the scene. This helps prevent excessive or insufficient illumination while reducing unnecessary battery consumption.

Easy Setup with Live View

The built-in 1.9-inch display provides a live view for checking composition while installing the camera. This makes it easier to confirm that the monitored area is positioned correctly before leaving the location.

A dedicated TEST button lets you verify the setup without searching through the main menu, helping make the Secacam 3 ready for use within minutes.

Integrated 4G Connectivity

An integrated LTE module and multi-roaming SIM allow the camera to connect to networks from multiple providers. It automatically selects a suitable available network at the camera’s location, supporting image transmission across the UK and numerous other European countries.

A compatible ZEISS service plan or prepaid credit is required for cellular transmission. Plan features, allowances and prices may vary.

ZEISS Secacam App

The ZEISS Secacam app allows you to receive and review captured images from a compatible mobile device. You can also check camera information such as battery status, view its recorded position on a map and organise favourite photographs within the gallery.

Compatible service plans may add features including remote camera configuration, transmitted videos, automated species recognition and additional protection services.

32GB Internal Storage

The Secacam 3 uses 32GB of built-in storage instead of a removable SD card. Images and videos can be sent through the mobile network or copied manually using the camera’s USB-C connection.

To transfer files directly, connect a FAT32-formatted USB-C storage device and select the USB Transfer option. Media can then be transferred by folder, capture date or as a complete archive.

Efficient Battery System

Intelligent lighting and low-power data processing help extend operating time in the field. The removable battery magazine makes the eight AA batteries quick and straightforward to replace without having to handle them individually inside the camera body.

Eight AA batteries are included, and the camera can also accept compatible rechargeable LR6 AA cells.
