Zeiss Victory SF 10x42

Rediscover the world of birdwatching with the ZEISS VICTORY® SF. You can experience every spectacle nature has to offer with brilliant optics and an unparalleled wide-angle field of view. Thanks to its lightweight, unique ergonomic design and dynamic fast-focus feature, the VICTORY SF allows for hours of relaxing birding without fatigue. The VICTORY SF is the new benchmark for birding and wildlife observation in the 125-year development of ZEISS binoculars.

Newly developed Ultra-FL lens
The light transmission of 92% gives you the edge at dusk or on dark days. The newly developed, highly innovative Ultra-FL lens system also provides outstanding image quality. Multiple fluoride lenses made from the highest quality SCHOTT glass ensure even better colour reproduction and high detail resolution. A seven-lens eyepiece with a field flattener ensures sharp focus all the way to the edges.

Unparalleled wide-angle field of view
With the VICTORY SF, you’ll never miss a moment. Thanks to the extremely large wide-angle field of view, you will find what you’re looking for far more quickly than ever before. The 10 x 42 with its 120 m field of view (at 1,000 m) and the 8 x 42 with its 148 m offer top values. The large field of view also stands up to the toughest challenges. The field flattener guarantees sharp, brilliant images to the edges. Rediscover the world of birdwatching and wildlife observation with all of nature’s stunning details in crisp, clear focus.

The most ergonomic in its class
The lightest weight and exceptional ErgoBalance concept allow users to become one with their binoculars and surroundings. The ZEISS VICTORY SF features lightweight materials and a unique anti-slip product design for ergonomic comfort that is truly unparalleled. Weighing in at just 780 g, it allows for several hours of fatigue-free viewing. The centre of gravity is closer to the eye, resulting in a very balanced weight distribution, making it possible to keep a steady hand over extended periods of time.

ErgoBalance-Concept
We think that intuitive means more than just “simple”. More than anything, it means fast. Being able to use binoculars quickly and easily is essential in birding as you try to focus on rapidly moving objects at varying distances. The outstanding SMART FOCUS concept allows you to respond as quickly and intuitively thanks to the improved focusing speed. The focusing wheel is positioned in the triple-link bridge to allow for a comfortable, natural hand position. The anti-slip surface allows for easier, more precise operation and ideal focusing. Once you’ve tried the VICTORY SF, you’ll never want to live without them.

Made for the outdoors. For always.
In addition to its extraordinary optical performance, you will be immediately impressed by the design and workmanship of the ZEISS VICTORY SF binoculars from the moment you pick them up. Durability and excellent production quality are requirements for all ZEISS Sports Optics products – standard features, not extras. This means that you can enjoy many, many years of nature experiences first hand, even in the toughest conditions. Only the best survives.

Understanding: Magnification

Understanding magnification, typically denoted by a number followed by an "x" (e.g., 8x42), is essential for choosing binoculars suited to specific activities like birdwatching, hunting, or stargazing.

Higher magnification offers a closer view but may sacrifice field of view and stability, while lower magnification provides a wider field of view and is generally easier to stabilize but sacrifices detailed observation of distant objects

Understanding: Field of View

Field of view refers to the width of the area visible through the binoculars at a specific distance. A wider field of view allows you to observe more of your surroundings, making it ideal for activities like birdwatching or sports events where tracking fast-moving subjects is essential.

Understanding: Objective Lens Diameter

The objective lens diameter determines how much light the binoculars can gather, directly impacting image brightness and clarity, especially in low-light conditions. A larger objective lens diameter results in brighter and clearer images, making it ideal for activities such as stargazing or wildlife observation at dawn or dusk. However, larger objective lenses also mean heavier and bulkier binoculars, which may not be suitable for all users, especially for long periods of use or travel.
