On Saturday, 19th July, a vibrant group of photographers took to the streets of Swansea for an unforgettable afternoon of street photography, guided by Leica UK ambassador Ethan Cooper. Hosted by Carmarthen Camera Centre and supported by Leica UK, this hands-on workshop brought together enthusiasts of all skill levels for a dynamic exploration of urban storytelling through the lens of a Leica.

Starting from the National Waterfront Museum, participants explored Swansea’s lively city centre—shooting scenes rich in texture, light, and character. Ethan Cooper shared expert insight along the route, offering real-time feedback, practical tips, and creative challenges to inspire new ways of seeing the everyday.
Whether attendees brought their own gear or tested out the latest Leica cameras and lenses, the event offered a unique opportunity to develop skills and experiment with world-class tools in a real-world setting.
